Formerly known as Square One, Viva La Coldplay are the most definitive sounding tribute band to Coldplay to date. From 2006, the band toured extensively for over two years, covering the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, with their formidable reputation taking them as far afield as St.Ives festival in Cornwall. The band's career peaked in August 2008, wowing a crowd of 12,000 revellers Liverpool at Mathew street festival, and even being mistaken by many for the real Coldplay!
After having a year apart to pursue other projects, Viva La Coldplay have returned to recreate the complete anthology of Martin, Buckland, Berryman and Champion. A self-contained act with a formidable sound and lighting show at their disposal, the band can perform up to two hours worth of career-spanning material taking in key tracks such as Yellow, The Scientist, Viva La Vida and In My Place. They have also been known to suprise audiences with covers of fan-favourites such as Spies, A Rush of Blood to the Head and What If. This is a show that will delight both fans and novices alike.
Being able to combine Coldplay's energetic live performances with the layered sonic beauty of their recorded output is a tough task for any band, but Viva La Coldplay pull it off with consumate ease.
The band are available for booking now at pubs, clubs, theatres and private functions, and are willing to consider offers nationally and internationally.

Viva la Coldplay can perform up to two hours of stellar Coldplay material. They are a self-contained act with a quality sound-system at their disposal, and they replicate the band's stage set-up and costume to perfection. Additionally the band can provide a professional light show at an extra cost of £100. Furthermore, for private functions we can provide a DJ at an extra cost of £100 also
