Soul Education are a band of 9 young, energetic and extremely talented musicians. Specializing in Funk, Soul and a bit of Pop they are more than able to provide entertainment for any event and are guaranteed to get you on the dance floor!
The band formed whilst studying and playing together for three years on the Pop and Jazz degree courses at the prestigious Leeds College of Music and have recently graduated with first class degrees and exceptional marks for music performance. Although the band have only been working professionally since early 2008, they have swiftly gained an outstanding reputation and have packed as much experience into that time that may take others years.
Soul Education are now one of the busiest and most in demand bands in the North and have swiftly built up an array of regular corporate and private clients as well as a number of residencies in music venues across Yorkshire. They are not only highly sought after as a group for weddings, parties and corporate events in the UK as well as internationally, but also recognised as exceptional musicians, with members regularly employed for live and studio sessions with record companies, producers and top UK bands.
Each member of the band is wholly dedicated to being part of an outfit that provides musical entertainment of only the highest quality and refuse to be a part of anything less. Regular rehearsals ensure that their repertoire is ever expanding, and due to the high levels of creativity within the band, material is expertly arranged to include as many hit songs in one night as possible!

Line up
The normal line-up options are the 9 piece band or the 8 piece band (with one less brass player).
However, if you have a smaller budget, they can also gig as 6 piece band.
Either line up does not affect the space required and the full band can fit into surprisingly compact spaces! Please ask your agent for more information.
